The cork-covered footbed is pleasant for feet and nature. Our cork is obtained from Portuguese cork oaks, whose thick layers of cork are peeled and processed by hand. The first harvest takes place after 20 to 25 years, further ones at intervals of nine to twelve years when the layer has grown back - nature sets the pace.
